Internet-Cottages Reveals Stunning New Norfolk Holiday Cottage in Wells-next-the-Sea on the North Norfolk Coast

London (PRWEB) November 24, 2011

Internet-Cottages is delighted to present the latest addition to its Norfolk Holiday Cottages section with this stunning newly refurbished holiday cottage in Wells-next-the-Sea on the North Norfolk Coast.

This charming Grade II listed brick and flint cottage was built around 1828, and has been in the owner’s family since 1911. Over the last year, it has been lovingly renovated and fully refurbished to marry modern and traditional materials, resulting in a quite stunning Norfolk holiday home.

The owners, Kevin and Vivienne Hegarty, have recently won an award for a new property in Suffolk namely ‘Winners of the Suffolk Archant 2010 Award’ for the best new build. They have applied the same attention to detail with this renovation and created a fantastic blend of original features and modern day comfort. Full details can be seen at Wisteria Holiday Cottage Norfolk

Wisteria Cottage is located only a few hundred yards from both the town and the quayside, providing easy access to the wonderful beach at Wells, with its acres of golden sand and famous beach huts. Like much of North Norfolk, it’s a foodie heaven, with a great many good food pubs in the immediate vicinity – or if you prefer self-catering, make sure to pay a visit to the delicatessen at Cley-next-the-Sea just along the coast, where you’ll be unable to resist making some sort of purchase. Also not-to-be-missed is Cookies Crab Shop – very much a legend in the area, with superb fresh seafood platters, served under a quirky collection of gazebos and a garden hut, with the added advantage of allowing you to take your own wine. Great food, fantastic value.

The holiday cottage has three bedrooms to accommodate up to 5 people – it’s strictly for adults only though, as there are two steep staircases in the property which make it unsuitable for children or those with limited mobility. It features a kitchen, dining room, cosy sitting room, reception area and cloakroom on the ground floor. The sitting room has comfortable sofas with a flat screen television with DVD player incorporating a full Sky package. The dining area offers seating for six and a comfortable chair to relax, read or simply unwind listening to your favourite music from the CD player or IPod deck. The kitchen which is well equipped includes a fridge freezer, double oven, microwave and washing machine.

There are two spacious double bedrooms and a single bedroom. The double rooms have King size beds and 32″ flat screen wall mounted televisions with Freesat viewing. All beds are fitted with pocket sprung mattresses and luxurious quality white bed linen. There are two traditional ‘winder’ staircases at each end of the cottage which makes it unsuitable for children or those with limited mobility. The luxury bathroom is fitted with a large double shower, a boat bath and a heated towel rail. The cottage has full gas central heating.

The outside area offers car parking for two vehicles, together with an attractive walled garden with two charming original washhouses and water pump surrounded by a double paved patio area with subtle lighting. This is complimented with wrought iron garden furniture.

The cottage is available all year round, with weekly rentals starting at

Toolbox Attend Latest Makita Trade Show in Daventry

(PRWEB UK) 21 January 2012

Makita regularly have trade shows over the UK, and they decided to kick off 2012 with a superb event situated at a Golf & Country Club in Daventry last week. The trade shows are designed for customers old and new to visit, see the new product launches and also get some cracking deals on current and end of line products.

Lee Taylor, General Manager of Toobox gave his two-cents on the Makita trade show:

We have always attended these events and feel it is an important part of the tools buying process, firstly to get to grips with the new products and use them, but also to be fully informed about all the benefits so our e-commerce website can contain all the information needed for customers looking to buy. In the past, shows like this have lead to us buying extremely popular products like Makita saws and various other products

The Daventry venue played host to the brand new 4 Stroke garden tools range from Makita, which includes petrol strimmers, petrol chainsaws and a couple of new petrol lawnmowers. With reduced emission products slowly becoming the norm, Makita had an excellent demonstration of an older 2 stroke strimmer vs. a new 4 stroke petrol model that actually captured all the emissions from the two machines in separate large test tubes and the results were clear to see.

Scott Morris, E-Commerce Manager of Toolbox was more than enthusiastic to add his comments from the Makita trade show experience:

There were many new products to see and feel, a brand new 10.8v lithium ion range of machines, which included reciprocating saws, jigsaws, tile and glass cutters, torches with built in radios and the normal cordless drill drivers. Some excellent new 18V power tool combo kits were also on display which provide an excellent saving for anyone new in the DIY game wanting a starter kit or even the experienced professional wanting a second kit

Makita have a brand new website with all the features consumers and businesses should ever need, high resolution product images, extensive product descriptions and videos. They also have an intuitive Ask Makita page which allows frequently asked questions to be accessed in a directory format to help out with any problems or concerns, this should reduce emails into them and also improve response time to queries as in theory they can be answered instantly.

Toolbox is the sister site of Plumbworld, an early pioneer of online trading, started by James and Anita Hickman in 1999. Plumbworld was then sold to the Grafton Group PLC in December 2006. Plumbworld now employs more than 50 people in its purpose built warehouse and offices and boasts an astonishing 50+ websites selling everything from shower enclosures and draper tools to barbecues and shower pumps. The business has a turnover in excess of
